For the techies - all of my shots were taken with a Nikon D700 with either the 28-70mm or 70-200mm lens. Most were of the 2005 shots were taken in RAW format then compressed to JPG for the web. I did a little touch up on a few, but most are straight from the camera. Great camera, great lenses! And if you're in the market for a color photo printer, I can recommend the Canon i9900 (my birthday present this year). It produces fantastic quality prints up to 13x19 in. I'm having lots of fun with it. Oh, and if you're looking for photo achieve quality but are concerned about ink jet paper and ink lasting for 100 years, try a spray on fix that leaves no color or surface quality changes, but blocks UV and air from getting to the ink. I'll let you know in 100 years if it works, but so far, so good! You can pick it up at a high end photo equipment store. Get the one specific for ink jet digital pictures. Here you will find links to many pages of photos and miscellaneous rantings from recent travels. Feel free to browse. Click on any thumbnail image to go to a larger page. From there you can go forward or backwards through all the images on that page. For those wanting larger, uncompressed versions of specific images, just drop an email to me and I'll put them in the Large Image folder. Some of these files are over 5MB so be sure your PC can handle them. You might have to right click on the image name and select save as, then give it a folder location on your PC. I've already loaded some of the group shots and some of my favorites to this page. Drop a line and let me know if you have any suggestions for the site. For those planning on sending me your photos from the trips (you know who you are) I'll post them as soon as I can and drop an email out to the rest of the group. If you're visiting as a family or friend, enjoy and we'd love to hear your questions or comments. No guarantees on setting up a message board or feedback area (not sure how to do that yet), but I'll work on it. Feel free to give out this site address. If the traffic becomes too big, I may have to password limit it. We'll see how it goes. Also, you won't see any contact information other than in images. Too many phishers out there (people/computers scanning web pages looking for email addresses to add to their spam lists).
